Gold Magazine Special Funds Issue March ’21: Introducing the Quality Funds – Two of the Most Innovative Investment Products on the Cypriot Market

31-03-2021

The Beginning of a New Era: Introducing the Quality Income Retail Fund & the Quality Growth Retail Fund.

Quality Income Retail Fund & Quality Growth Retail Fund are currently two of the most innovative investment products available on the Cyprus market, combining the Hospitality, Medical, Education and Real Estate sectors.

The funds were formed in an effort to facilitate the transition of the ever-evolving and dynamic investment landscape, to empower retail investors with a pioneering investment opportunity. By participating in the Quality Income Retail Fund and the Quality Growth Retail Fund, investors will benefit from:

  • A dispersion of the investment portfolio;
  • Specialisation, as funds tend to focus on a specific area and benefit from the experience of fund managers;
  • More investment opportunities, as investors are part of a wider group of funds;
  • Better performance and better risk management, as a result of the involvement of professional investment managers. In fact, even a smaller investor can gain access to professional management experience and know-how;
  • Economies of scale, i.e. lower transaction costs;
  • Investment protection, as it is a product that is subject to a strict implementation process and continuous regulatory monitoring;
  • Protection of assets as they are assigned to an independent custodian, who is responsible for the functions of monitoring and supervising cash flows;
  • Access to investments, which otherwise could not be available (i.e. the size of the investment, cost sharing, risk sharing, etc);
  • Accessibility of investment opportunities in key sectors of the Cypriot economy.
